Snare,
Thanks you are the first to understand. I have them bad enough that it almost made me house bound. It is not a mental disorder!
i've had them off and on since i was 8. i didn't put a label on them till last month.

although i really hate the wt/jw shunning policy, which especially huts those who have been df'd, i find i am in a kind of way doing it to my jw family.. i do not include them in anything i do, in my own family gatherings, and i cannot be arsed to inform them of things going on in my family, or to even go and see them, unless really necessary.. this all adds up to a kind of "reverse shunning", and i do feel a twinge of guilt about it, but it is simply how things have become.. do you, fellow faders, find a similar thing happening ?.
I don't think you are shunning you are just human. You know when you are not wanted and avoid people you know do not want you around.
after waking up and wanting to get out of this nightmare, the word apostate is really bothering me.
if i quitely become inactive, fade away will i just be looked at as "always weak".
i want to scream out how big a fool i was.. and now telling my poor young daughter how wrong i was to bring her up as a jw.
What everyone else said. I left about five years ago and I am still healing. It is a good healing most of the time. I'm learning to think for myself, enjoy life and live free. I hope a happy and quick recovery but don't be too hard on yourself. The JW's had a hold of you and it takes time and tears to break that hold.

so 14 years ago we went to a lawyer, a witness and set up our trust.
now because of ttatt, i want to change it to have blood.
my husband is very witness and if i change it he needs to sign it.
Most are easy to change. Cross off no blood with a signature. If your hubby is a JW though, this is not your problem. You need to convince your hubby to respect your wishes if not no document will stop him from no blood.
the talk is called "the right religion demonstrates true faith in christ".
i have to help my fading gf give the talk.
if you have any subtle "apostate" ideas, i would appreciate them.. here is what i would like to say:.
How often is Christ highlighted or is it the priest, pope... GB? Who do they focus on themselves or the teachings of Jesus and HIS role
let me know your thoughts believers and others too!.

My team would always win
in an interview in the guardian newspaper's "guide" magazine he is asked about his upbringing with the question "terrible but character building?
" luke replies,.
"well, i'm still here and still smiling.
That's cool
what made you realize it was time to go?
i've been having health problems for the last few years and instead of any help, i'm listed as spiritually weak and of course associations is only my kids and husband.
all the good jw's have moved to other congregations and are doing well.
Well learning TTATT is the first step. For me it was a series of ah ha moments. Being on the other side of lack of love. Education in the internet and books!!!
Welcome to life

i was chatting today in the sauna, as one does if you don't go to meetings about dining out.
one pleasant fellow said he would never return food, he explained it was because he is convinced the staff would do something to the food.. do you agree?.
